Block by Block's main goal is to support the philanthropic work of the Mexico-based, non-profit organization Ayúdame que yo También soy Mexicano, AC ("ATM"). Specifically, Block by Block works to:

 

• Raise awareness of the large-scale poverty problem and inhumane living conditions prevalent in many rural communities in Mexico,

 

• Assist ATM with US-based fund-raising efforts among philanthropic foundations, corporations and caring private individuals, and

 

• Support ATM's cause through the organization of volunteering missions to these communities.

Block by Block (assumed business name of the non-profit corporation "Friends of ATM") is a publicly supported, tax-exempt organization organized under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code and is eligible to receive tax deductible charitable contributions within the limits prescribed by law.

 

Please note that, in strict conformance with IRS guidelines, Block by Block does not accept contributions that are earmarked or required to be distributed to ATM or any other organization. The Directors of Block by Block have complete discretion and control over the ultimate disposition of any contributions received by the organization. While donors may suggest that their gifts be used for a specific purpose, these requests are non-binding on Block by Block. This ensures that gifts made to Block by Block are tax-deductible and that Block by Block fulfills its duties and obligations as a U.S. tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Code. Donors may make unrestricted contributions to Block by Block, and in these cases, the Directors will determine the manner in which contributed funds will be used.
