Alfredo Garcia Sanchez, 19, is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program, and the driving force behind Block by Block. Since an early age, he was troubled by the large income inequality and poverty he witnessed as he traveled to Mexico on family visits. He hopes that his efforts in establishing Block by Block's presence, furthering its relationship with ATM and developing its fundraising and volunteering capabilities will make a difference in the lives and futures of thousands of Mexican families.

Natalia Garcia Sanchez, 16, is a junior at The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, TX. In addition to her involvement with National Charity League, Natalia has always been passionate about helping those less fortunate. Given her family roots in Mexico and the glaring poverty and inequality she has witnessed while traveling there, Natalia hopes that her efforts in expanding Block by Block's presence and fundraising in her community will lead to improved well-being in marginalized communities in Mexico.
